Henrico High School is a high school located just outside the Richmond city line in Henrico County, Virginia and operated by the Henrico County Public Schools. It is unique among Henrico County High Schools in that it has two specialty centers—the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years/Diploma Program and the Center for the Arts Program (CFA).〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Specialty Centers & Programs )〕 It is one of the oldest schools in Henrico County, and it has a highly diverse student population. In a June 8, 2009 online exclusive, Newsweek Magazine ranked Henrico High School number 928 in its 1500 top US high schools. ()〕 On October 10, 2007, Virginia Governor Tim Kaine spoke at the Senior Convocation. ==Facilities== The high school features an outdoor campus, built in the same style as Varina High School and J. R. Tucker High School. In 2014, the school added a new classroom building, a cafeteria, and remodeled the athletic "field house" building. The school is currently in stage 2 of major renovation that will update the school's facilities and, most notably, add a brand new building that will house the Center for the Arts' Dance, Theatre, and Musical Theatre programs, IB Theatre, choir, and band.
